A New Approach to Obesity Care

This six-month virtual program equips clinicians with evidence-based tools to support patients living with obesity. Through live monthly workshops, virtual teaching kitchen sessions and coaching, you’ll gain practical skills to:

  • Deliver Evidence-Based Food as Medicine for Whole-Person Health. Develop a holistic, research-backed approach to food for better health.

  • Learn Through Coaching & Collaboration. Connect with motivated peers while receiving expert guidance.

  • Integrate Practical Tools Seamlessly. Apply new approaches to your existing workflows.

  • Earn CME credits through self-paced modules from the American College of Physicians.


Who Should Join the Workshop Series?

Physicians of all specialties, dietitians, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, and social workers/case managers looking to confidently support patients in obesity management.

Program Kickoff Event – 10/25

What a Kickoff! 🦵 Our “Transforming Obesity Care in Arizona: Food for Health” event was an incredible success — full of connection, learning, food, nutrition and gardening information, and joy! The engagement was incredible! We shared plant-powered meals, movement, and inspiring conversations on food for health, community empowerment, and strengthening connections through our broader food system, including gardens, grocery stores, mobile food markets and community networks.
