Transforming Care in Arizona
Healing Gardens & Teaching Kitchen Program

An evidence-based, culturally responsive program rooted in the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine.

This initiative supports multiple community sites across the Phoenix metropolitan area, directly connecting neighborhoods with sustainable local food sources. Our approach combines:

  • Food as Medicine education that shows how whole plant foods prevent and often reverse chronic illness.

  • Hands-on gardening to teach participants how to grow the ingredients needed to support health at home.

  • Cooking and meal preparation using freshly harvested, whole plant-based foods.

  • Sustainability practices that care for both people and the planet.

  • Practical health and wellness coaching tools to help participants integrate lasting change.

Together, these experiences empower individuals and families to become Food as Medicine practitioners in their own kitchens, restoring health, vitality, and resilience from the ground up.

With your support, we are transforming everyday spaces into community hubs of healing, connection, and sustainable well-being.
